Okay, I said it. I have a lot of crappy things going on in my life right now. But, that’s not your problem. However, if you can relate to how I’m feeling you might like my playlist. These are songs that may sound depressing, yet, make me feel better. I hope they may make you feel better too. If you are not familiar with some of these tunes I hope you will search them out. After all, all I can leave behind is the benefit of my experience.
This is part 1, mostly artists with names from A to D (somehow Pink Floyd slipped in because I have been thinking a lot lately about Comfortably Numb).
Let me know in the comments if any of these songs strikes a chord with you. I could use a sense of community, something sorely lacking in society today.
Here it is:
Blodwyn Pig – Dear Jill
Dave Mason – Sad and Deep as You
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – 4 + 20
Bob Dylan – Desolation Row (“All these people that you mention, yes I know them there quite lame” – I love that line).

This is over three and a half hours of music. So if you are ready to feel real emotion, proceed. I have always related to the blues and other sad music. I have people in my life who have brought me great joy. I also have had a great deal of stress and sorrow since I was a child. I can only hope that the succeeding generations will have less suffering.
